Hunting for Block Island Bass
with Curt Caserta |

In this seminar, Curt will discuss specifics he has learned from a handful of great Charter Captains who are avid “ striper hunters” who helped him go from catching seaweed to putting nice fish in the boat on a consistent basis. “I have taken little pieces of techniques and information and tried to adapt them to what works best for me,” said Curt. He will focus on using live eels at Block Island and the importance of having a “Plan B”. Curt will cover in detail techniques such as the correct direction to pitch your bait; how to set up a drift and properly position your boat; the importance of using your electronics; the benefits of finding your own fish while staying away from “the herd”, and the gear and tackle that he has found works best for him. He will also review specific locations and screen shots of his electronics to help you identify what you may be seeing on yours. “I believe there are a few essential things that really made a difference for me that I haven't heard in other seminars. It is my goal to share what I have learned from others to help you avoid some of the mistakes I made along the way and increase your success.” |
