This months boat ramp review is:
FORT WETHERILL RAMP

This ramp is well-known by SCUBA divers who launch their small boats here so they can swim below the cliffs at Wetherill on the southeast side of Jamestown. This ramp is not favored by fishermen though because it is very steep and usable only for 14 to 16 foot light boats.

The ramp is constructed of concrete slabs and concrete patch, but is in poor condition. Once launched water depth is sufficient for small boats, and launching here will put the angler in easy reach of Beavertail, Mackerel Cove, Castle Hill and Brenton Reef.
