| LINTON "BUD" WILDER |
Buddy, as he is called by
everyone who knows him, has been a member of RISAA since 1998, and has
been active in the Association right from the start. Having
served as a member of the Fund-Raising Committee, he was elected
chairman by fellow committee members, and has held that position for
the past three years. He also helped to run the 2002 flea market,
and is a constant helper to the Newsletter Committee.Buddy always participates in the annual Take-A-City-Kid Fishing Day and can always be counted on to help whenever a hand is needed. This year, he joined the Cruise Committee, now that he has a 24' Bayliner that he and his wife Renee (also a member) can sleep aboard. Anyone who attends the monthly Association meetings will find Buddy manning the Fund-Raising Committee's raffle table. The fishing tackle raffle is usually part of the night's entertainment as everyone buys a couple of tickets, hoping to take home some new fishing gear. Thanks to Bud's efforts, he and his committee have raised thousands of dollars, most of which has gone toward RISAA scholarships or charities. We're PROUD to have Bud Wilder as a RISAA member! |
