Edward Kearney

Many members who joined RISAA in the past several months have either met, or spoken to,Ed Kearney Ed Kearney.  That's because he is one of the active members of our Membership Committee who contacts every new member, offering advice and answering questions.

But that's not enough work for Ed, and he stays involved by chairing the Library Loan Committee, and serves on the Membership, Boat Show, Tackle Show, and Newsletter committees.

All of the above would certainly keep a guy busy, but Ed does even more.  When the state legislature was holding hearings on the Freedom To Fish Act, Ed was always there.  He shows up for functions, meetings and events whenever he can - which is usually very often.

Example: on December 17 he, along with several other RISAA members, attended a reception for outgoing DEM director, Jan Reitsma in Providence.  From there he went to the meeting of the Greenwich Bay Citizens Advisory Committee.  He's always "there" when we need him!

We're PROUD to have Ed Kearney a RISAA member!
