| SANDIE GELINEAU |
She's a woman who has always loved fishing, but never gets to fish, yet she devotes a lot of time to a fishing club. Sandie has been a RISAA member since it was formed in 1998, and has taken an active role from the start. Every month, for several years, she shows up at the Newsletter Committee meetings to help tabulate and bag thousands of newsletters. Every month she finds the time to submit recipes for our newsletter, a feature that many people look forward to. As chairperson in charge of our Charities, she sees to it that RISAA donates money to many charities. Each November and December she ends up shopping and buying gift certificates in order to make baskets for needy members and families. She also chairs our Audits Committee. In the years that I had a boat, I'd occasionally take her and husband Mike (also an avid angler) out fishing, but now that I'm boatless, she never gets to fish anymore. Oh yeah, did I mention she's my sister?! We're PROUD to have Sandie as a RISAA member!
