There's a standing joke about how Rhode Islanders think driving
from East Bay to the West Bay, a trip of perhaps 45 minutes, requires
packing a lunch. Some members have said that monthly seminars in West Warwick are "too far" to travel from Narragansett. Those distances are nothing when you consider the dedication of RISAA member, Charles "Chuck" Casella. Chuck lives in Georgetown, Massachusetts, which is north of Boston and closer to New Hampshire than to Rhode Island. Chuck, who is a member of RISAA's Legislative, Saltwater Fishing Show, and Tournaments committees, will drive two hours each way to attend meetings. "I made a commitment to RISAA," says Chuck, "and the drive is worth the effort to know that I'm doing my part for the Association." Beside being a RISAA member, he is also the delegate to RISAA for the Massachusetts Striped Bass Association, of which he is a past president. He is also CAPTAIN Charles Casella, a USGC licensed charter captain who has given several complimentary seminars to RISAA in the past. We're PROUD to have Chuck as a RISAA member!
