 A perfect choice to recieve our first Member of the Month
award, Mike owns Bucko's Bait & Tackle in Fall River. Mike is
a Tiverton resident who has put in a lot of time behind the scenes
working for all saltwater anglers.• He was present and testified at the legislative hearings when the Freedom To Fish Act was before the House and Senate. He was present when the governor signed the bill last month. • When a saltwater fishing license was threatened this year, Mike spent hours of his time (and own money) to help print and circulate petitions to bait shops. • Mike serves on several Advisory Boards for the Marine Fisheries Council and attends many Fisheries Council meetings. • He worked for RISAA at the Governor's Bay Day this summer, and was present at the Governor's proclamation ceremony. • Mike has given several seminars at RISAA meetings on reel maintenance\ We're PROUD to have him as a RISAA member! |
