Junior Activity events are open to the children of all RISAA members. If you and your child are interested in attending an event, please contact the RISAA OFFICE or by phone at 401-826-2121. Squid Fishing We'll be fishing for squid at various locations on weekend night in late May/early June. If you want to join in, contact us so he can keep you up to date via email. April - BIOMES Visit This event hasn't been finalized yet however the plan is to visit the BIOMES aquarium and education center in North Kingstown, RI. Tautog Fishing Expert tog fisherman, Lamar Wallace will be our giude at Fogland Beach in Tiverton on Saturday, May 22nd. Come on down and catch a tog with your child to enter into the Special Tautog Fishing Tournament. May - Coast Guard Station Visit Climb abord coast guard vessels and find out how lives are saved and our waterways are protected. June - Squid Fishing This was a huge hit last year. This year we plan on fishing for squid on multiple weekends to give everyone a chance and to increase the odds of being there when the action is red hot July - Scup Fishing We'll all gather at a beach that offers great scup fishing as well as snorkeling, swimming and other activities. This is a come when you want, stay as long as you want event. Last year the kids had a ball. It should be great fun again this year. Fall - New England Aquarium visit, Boston, MA |
